Mindfulness, a cornerstone of our 8 Weeks to Wellness® (8WW) program and one of the Five Pillars of Health, is more than just meditation. It’s not as simple as tuning into an app or losing yourself in the sound of a babbling brook or cascading waterfall.
Why mindfulness? We have 60,000 thoughts daily, and only one person can control these thoughts: you. The individual staring back at you in the mirror has the power. And it’s worth noting that 95-98% of these thoughts are repetitive, echoing those from yesterday.
